Before you upload
Reasonable questions.
Everything worth knowing before you hand us a photograph.
- Is this a filter?
- No. A filter pushes pixels around. We repaint the photograph from scratch with a generative model tuned to the house style, so brushwork lands where a painter would put it — along the jaw, in the folds of cloth, at the edge of the light.
- Will it still look like the person?
- That's the whole job. The model is instructed to hold facial structure, hairstyle and expression while changing only the medium. Front-lit photos where the face is unobstructed hold the likeness best. If the preview doesn't look like them, don't pay.
- What do I actually get?
- A high-resolution PNG with no watermark, downloaded straight from the studio page. Standard is 1600px on the long edge, which is right for screens and small prints. Premium is 3000px, which is right for framing.
- Why is the preview watermarked?
- So you can judge the painting properly before deciding, and so the finished file stays the thing you're paying for. The preview is the same painting, just smaller and marked.
- What happens to my photo?
- It's stripped of EXIF data (including GPS) on arrival, held only as long as it takes to paint, and deleted within 24 hours along with the artwork. We don't sell it, publish it, or train on it.
- How do I pay?
- UPI, RuPay, Visa, Mastercard and the major wallets, through Cashfree's checkout. Prices are in rupees and include GST.
- Can I get a refund?
- You see the painting before you pay, which is the honest version of a guarantee. If the file you download is corrupt or plainly not what the preview showed, write to us and we'll refund you.
